the burnley youth theatre

A splendid confidence and skill builder including activities that involve games, socialising and of course acting, it doesn’t matter if you or your child are socially awkward, not interested in acting, or even if they are amazing at it and a social butterfly, everyone will get something out of this course, whether that be greater acting talent, the ability to makes friends, or even just pure enjoyment.
The teachers in these courses are truly impressive, inclusive but not too pushy, kind and patient, and finally they are incredibly skilled and should be able to easily either teach skills or improve on already existing ones.
Lastly let me tell you about the skills you should learn on this course (or as stated, improve upon): Improvisation, feeling much less awkward or embarrassed (you will most likely not get this on the first day which is completely fine, I know personally that it took me a few weeks before I really felt truly comfortable, and if you get it straight away, that is great!), a way to express yourself physically instead of vocally (slapstick type stuff).
